This unique collection of Orientalist paintings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, curated by Monda Gallery, offers an introduction to European Orientalism from France, Germany, Italy and Austria. The artists at La Galerie include Frederic de Buzon, Georg Macco, Alois Hans Schram, Max Schoedl, Leopold Carl Mueller and Ludwig Hans Fischer Gustavo Simoni, Hermann Corrodi and Rubens Santoro.
Together these works represents the characteristic style of the Orientalist art that was widely produced up to the 1930s, a genre that would remain mostly unaffected by the great artistic movements of impressionism and modernism.
To 27 February.
